Another busy but rewarding day. More Councillor induction sessions, logging lots of case work (including a site visit to see some residents’ issues firsthand), ending with a “Have Your Say” community meeting in #Hooe discussing lots of community issues.

Stirling Road Surgery Update

I've seen and heard residents concerns about the
GP Surgery at Sterling Rd as a result of the redundancy exercise being conducted by the new providers Forbes and Fuller. It's not unusual for new management to restructure an organisation but I know this has created uncertainty across the community. I popped in on Friday to book a meeting with new management so that I can seek assurances about the level of service and access to primary care that is/will be provided.
